(In the Name of Allah (SWT), Most Gracious, Most Merciful, all praise and thanks are due to Allah, Lord of the Realms and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger (SAWS) and upon all his family and companions)

What is Tajweed?

Tajweed is known as important because it is the obligation on believers to recite each and every letter in Quran correctly, keeping in mind the language, the pronunciation, the stipulated attributes and the origin of its pronunciation.

Allah Ta'ala says in the noble Qur'an, "And recite the Qur'an with Tarteel (in a slow pleasant tone and style)." (73:4)

The Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) has said, 'Indeed Allah desires that the Qur'an be recited in the manner it was revealed.'

When asked about the meaning of Tarteel, Ali (Radhiallaahu Anhu) replied, 'It means that the Qur'an should be recited with Tajweed and with due observance to the rules of Waqf (pausing or stopping at the end of the verse).'

Necessity of Learning Tajweed?

We all believers are expected to recite Quran as it was revealed on our Beloved Prophet (SAWS) and this is where all the right measures are to be observed to acquire the very precise meaning of what Allah (SWT) has to tell the entire mankind and this is where it comes to Tajweed being you are to know that a slight change in the pronunciation or

Understanding in reading or teaching a slightest difference could lead to alter the entire meaning of such a issue where you are never recommended to make such a practice. As Quran is a source of guidance to the mankind and every word has its individual importance.
